INTRODUCTION
Feature Summary: Leverage Custom Ratings in various ways throughout CourtReserve.
Use Cases: Custom Ratings can be seen on player/member information, can be used to create Member Groups, and can be utilized for custom emails, event restriction, and reporting.
SETUP REQUIREMENTS
Once your Custom Ratings are set up and players have either entered or been assigned a rating, you can start leveraging this data across the system to improve booking, streamline communication, and optimize member registration and organization.
AREAS TO UTILIZE CUSTOM RATINGS
Member Details and Member Grids
If you’ve set up Custom Ratings, they will appear on each member’s Details page as well as in Member Grids such as the Member List or Active Members views.
Examples below:
Member Portal
When setting up your Custom Rating, if you chose to display it on the Member Portal, your players/members will see in under their Personal Information. Based on your set up of Custom Ratings, they may or not be able to edit the information. Example below:
Email Players
Another great way to utilize Custom Ratings is through the Email Players feature in CourtReserve. This allows you to filter and email only those players/members who match a specific rating. Example below:
Reports
Members Report: Use Custom Ratings as a filter when running the Members Report to see a select group of players.
Attendance - Check In Report: Select your Custom Ratings as fields that will output on the Check In Report.
Events
When creating an Event, go to the Registration Restrictions tab. Here you can restrict your registrants based on your Custom Ratings.
Dynamic Member Groups
Dynamic Member Groups offer you a way to collect a certain group of players/members in your system. You can use your Custom Rating to group them. In the example use case below, we first created a custom rating of Tennis USTA Rating. We then created a new Dynamic Member Group using the custom rating we created to find a group of tennis players who are rated 3.0+.
Continuing with this example, you can filter out players/members who have a Tennis USTA Rating of 3.0 and higher. The Custom Rating will display as a Dynamic Member Group filter option. Example below:
You will then get a grid of any players/members that meet your Custom Rating criteria and can save this as a Member Group to utilize throughout your system.
Reminder: Dynamic Member Groups can automatically update based on your players’ Custom Ratings, keeping your groups current without manual adjustments.
Custom Scheduler
Once you have your Member Group created using your Custom Rating, you can use it to create a Custom Scheduler for the group. Please note this only is an option for Static Member Groups. Example filter on the Custom Scheduler page:
