INTRODUCTION
Feature Summary: System users can create registration restrictions for an event.
Use Cases: Use these settings to limit event registration to a subset of members/players.
PREREQUISITES
Add registration restrictions when creating an event.
SETUP REQUIREMENTS
Log in to the admin dashboard.
Click EVENTS on the side menu.
Create a new event or edit an existing one.
Scroll down the page and click the Registration Restrictions tab.
Fill in the fields. (see below)
Click Save Changes.
Registration Restrictions
Hide Event if Member does not match Restrictions - When checked, CourtReserve hides this event from all members/players who do not meet all registration restrictions on this page. This event will appear on the Event List or Event Calendar. On Schedulers, CourtReserve shows the time and court as Reserved with no event details.
Enabling this feature hides the event from players even if their membership type allows them to see the event as public.
Gender Restriction - Click the field and select an option to create a male or female-only event.
Age Restrictions - Specify a minimum and/or maximum registration age (inclusive) for the Event. When enabled, registrants must have a date of birth on their profile. Otherwise, CourtReserve assumes they are not eligible.
Rating Restrictions - Restrict registration to a specific Rating Category and specific Rating(s) within that category. Optionally, enter multiple Rating values in the Allowed Rating field.
Select Allowed Rating Categories first and then the Allowed Rating field.
Member Groups - Specify a Member Group to restrict registration. At this time, only static member groups are eligible for restriction. Instead of using dynamic groups as a filter, consider using a Rating Category restriction or contact our support team. We'll be happy to find a solution that meets your specific needs.
FEATURE USAGE - USERS' PERSPECTIVE
When a player clicks the Register button on the member portal, CourtReserve shows the restrictions (if enabled by the system user).
