INTRODUCTION
Feature Summary: System users create a new member account.
Use Cases: Manage all member settings on the Profile page. Update membership payments, confirm membership type, review platform activity, and more.
SETUP REQUIREMENTS
Log in to the admin dashboard.
Go to the side menu and click MEMBERS > ADD MEMBER.
Fill in the form. (see below)
Click Save & Close.
Filling in the form
Make sure the General tab is selected, and then enter basic name and contact information.
Custom fields
Click the fields and set the player's tennis or pickleball level. If the system user enabled custom fields, they appear here in the form. Fill in the fields if required.
Family
If this is an individual member, then skip over the Family option. If this member is part of a family, there are two options: create a new family or add the player to an existing family.
To create a new family:
Check the Create Family For This Member? box.
Enter a Family Name and Family ID.
Check the Set Membership On Family Level? box. If the system user does not check the box, CourtReserve shows individual membership options.
Select a family membership fee on the drop-down menu.
Click the field and set the Payment Frequency (monthly or one-time).
To add a member to an existing family:
Do not check the Create Family For This Member? box.
Click the Choose from existing family field and select an option.
Click the Family Role field and select an option.
Click Member Membership and select a price.
Click the field and set the Payment Frequency (monthly or one-time).
Click Membership Start Date and enter a calendar date to start the membership.
Optionally, check the box at the bottom of the page. CourtReserve sends the member a welcome message.

Player Profile
After the system user saves the General page, CourtReserve displays the member profile. The profile has a menu bar with nine tabs.
Click a link below to learn about the fields and settings in each tab. Each tab has a separate page link, except for the Details page, which is similar to the General page.
Email address
CourtReserve has functionality to seamlessly deal with duplicate emails across organizations. When you update a player’s email address to one that already exists in a different organization, a new account is created with the updated email. The system merges the player’s existing info into the new account. The player keeps all their previous data—just under the new email address. However, if the email address is already used in the same organization, the system will show a “Email is already in use” message.
