INTRODUCTION
Feature Summary: Suspend a member's membership and pause future billing cycles from generating until a system user manually reactivates the account.
Use Cases: A player needs a leave of absence and wants to pause, but not cancel, their membership. A system user can pause the membership and later reactivate when the member asks.
When a membership is SUSPENDED, the member cannot make a reservation, book a lesson, or register for events or leagues.
PREREQUISITES
The member must have a membership assigned to their account.
SETUP REQUIREMENTS
Go to the member's account on the admin panel (MEMBERS > SEARCH) and click the Membership tab. On the next page, click the Suspend Membership button.
System users can optionally enter a description in the Suspend Reason field on the popup window. Click Suspend Membership.
To unsuspend the account, click Reactivate Membership.
While reactivating a membership, system users can set the member's Next Payment Date if a fee is outstanding (i.e. the day the member must pay their membership dues).
