INTRODUCTION

  • Feature Summary: Prorate event registration prices for players who register for a multi-day event after the first event date has passed.

  • Use Cases: This feature applies only to events that take place over two or more days. System users can set a full price for players who register for the entire event. If a member registers after one or more event dates have passed, organizations can set up this event to provide a prorated registration price.

PREREQUISITES

Next, go to the Allow Proration on Full Event Price line at the bottom of the Event Setup page.

Check the box to enable prorated prices. If enabled, the system prorates a member's registration price depending on how many event dates they'll be registering for and how many total event dates remain. For example, the Full Registration price is $100, and there are ten dates in total. A member registers when there are eight event dates left. The auto-prorated price is $80.

CourtReserve considers All PASSED dates part of the total event date amount when prorating registration fees.

To confirm the prorated registration amount, CourtReserve suggests the following:

  1. Go to the top of the page and click the Dates tab.

  2. Check the box to enable Show Past Event Date(s).

  3. Confirm the total number of event dates.
