Use Cases: By adding tags to events, system users and members can quickly search, filter, and locate events that match their specific interests. Seamlessly organize events based on themes, topics, or any other criteria that matter to your organization.

OVERVIEW
Event tags function as short labels to help further identify and group events. Examples include Adult, Junior, Tennis, Social, etc. Tags can span event multiple categories and help with filtering and reporting.
SETUP REQUIREMENTS
Log in to the admin dashboard.
Go to SETTINGS > EVENT SETTINGS.
Click the Tags icon.
On the Tags page, click the Create Tag button.
On the Create Tag popup:
Enter a unique tag name.
Change the background and text colors. (optional)
Confirm the Active status. By default, the tag is active. Uncheck the Is Active box to disable the tag (i.e. it will not display in member portal filters or in the drop-down of tags in the event selector).
Confirm the Public status. By default, the tag is public. Uncheck the Is Public box to disable the tag (i.e. it will not display on the member portal).
CourtReserve adds the tag to the table. To change the order of tags in the table, click and drag an icon to a new location.
Choosing Colors for Event Tags
When customizing the appearance of your Event Tags, there are several ways to choose your desired colors:
1. HEX Code Input
You can manually enter a HEX code (e.g., #284b74) into the field provided.
A HEX code is a six-digit code that represents a specific color. If your Club has official branding guidelines, the HEX codes for your brand colors can usually be found in your style guide or website stylesheet.
2. Color Picker Tool
Use the built-in color picker:
The main color field allows you to adjust shade and brightness.
The vertical slider lets you select the hue (color family).
3. Basic Color Presets
Click the artist palette icon to quickly select from a set of standard colors. These are useful for quick selections and consistent choices across the platform.
ADMIN PERSPECTIVE
Filter the Events Table
System users can use tags to filter a list of events.
Go to EVENTS > LIST on the side menu.
Click the Filter button.
Go to the side panel and click the Tags. Select one or more tags and then click the Apply button. CourtReserve filters the table.
Filter a Transactions List
Use tags to filter the number of items that appear on a Transactions List.
Go to TRANSACTIONS > TRANSACTIONS LIST on the side menu.
Click the Filter button.
Go to the Tag(s) field and select one or more options.
Filter a Report
System users can apply a tag when running an Events report.
Go to REPORTS > EVENTS on the side menu.
Select a report type.
Go to the Tag(s) field and select one or more options.
USER PERSPECTIVE
On the Member Portal, players can select one or more tags to display specific types of events.
