INTRODUCTION
Feature Summary: Add a tax to POS Items.
Use Cases: System users should learn the correct tax obligation and apply that rate to POS items, if applicable.
PREREQUISITES
Know how to create a tax rate and create a POS item.
SETUP REQUIREMENTS
Log in to the admin dashboard.
Click POINT OF SALE > ITEM LIST on the side menu.
On the next page, select an item and click the Edit button.
Scroll down to the Tax Rate(s) heading. Click the field and select a tax option. Click Save Changes. Repeat the steps for other items.
Note: if you still need to set up your tax rates, do so by navigating to SETTINGS > BILLING SETTINGS > Taxes.
ADMIN PERSPECTIVE
On the admin side, CourtReserve displays the tax name assigned to each product on the Items table.
On the POS page, CourtReserve displays the tax in the shopping cart.
