Adding a new data source to Organizational Memory

Get the most out of OM1 by connecting your company's data sources.

Coworker's Organizational Memory (OM1) gets smarter the more data sources you connect. As a Network Admin, you can add new data connectors so that Coworker has access to your team's tools, documents, and conversations — making every search, summary, and AI response more accurate and relevant.

Prerequisites

  • You must be a Network Admin for your Coworker network.

  • You'll need admin credentials or authorization for the tool you're connecting (e.g., a Google Workspace admin account, Slack admin, etc.).

How to add a new data source to OM1

  1. Browse the list of available connectors and click select the data source you want to add.

  2. Follow the authentication flow for that connector — this typically involves signing in with the relevant account and granting Coworker the necessary permissions.

  3. Once authenticated, Coworker will begin indexing that data source into Organizational Memory. Initial indexing may take a few minutes to several hours depending on the volume of data.

Available data sources

Coworker supports a wide range of connectors, including:

  • Productivity & Docs: Google Drive & Calendar, Notion, Confluence

  • Communication: Slack, Gmail

  • Project Management: Jira, Linear, Asana

  • CRM: HubSpot, Salesforce

  • Data & Analytics: Snowflake, BigQuery, Postgres

  • And more: Github, Front, Intercom, and others

Check the Data Sources page for the full, up-to-date list of supported connectors.

What happens after connecting

Once a connector is active, Coworker will:

  • Index content from that source into Organizational Memory

  • Include it in search results and AI responses across the network

  • Continuously sync new content as it's created or updated

Users on the network do not need to individually authenticate — once an admin connects a data source at the network level, it becomes available to the entire network (subject to their individual access permissions within that tool).

Notes

  • Some connectors may require additional permissions or OAuth scopes beyond what's needed for basic connectivity. Follow the on-screen prompts carefully.

  • Disconnecting a data source will remove it from OM1 indexing going forward, but previously indexed content may remain in memory temporarily.

  • If you run into authentication errors during setup, confirm that you have the required admin permissions in the target tool.
