Printing estimates, bids, and invoices in National Estimator Cloud

Downloads the current estimate for printing.

Shortcut: Alt+P

Menu Bar Icon:

Or Under Main Menu > File Menu, click: :

  1. Click either the print icon on the Tool Bar, or Print from the Main Menu > File Menu.

  2. Click to select either a Postscript (PDF) or a Word (RTF) file.

  3. A few seconds after you click Download, the file will arrive at your computer.

  4. In most browsers, the name of the downloaded file will appear either at the top or the bottom of your screen. Click that file name to open and print the estimate. If you don’t see the download file name on your screen, look for the file name in the downloads folder of your computer.

  5. Click on the file name to open that estimate. Print options depend on the print program installed on your computer and the printer you’re using.

Tips:

  • PDF format is best if you plan to send the file to others and don’t expect changes.

  • Word format is best if you expect others to make changes.

  • Printed estimates can show your company name, address and company logo. On the Tools Menu, click Edit Company Info.

  • Printed estimates can show your client’s name and address. On the Tools Menu, click Edit Customer Info.

  • Printed estimates can show information about the job. On the Tools Menu, click Edit Job Info.
