  1. In the estimate, select the entire line you want to delete -- text, cost or subtotal.

  2. Under the Main Menu < Edit Menu, click:

Or:

  1. Right-click (ctrl+click on some computers) in the estimate on the line you want to delete -- text, cost or subtotal.

  2. On the context menu, click Delete Line.

  3. After a second or two, the entire line will vanish.

Tips:

  • Cut and Delete Line are similar. But there is a difference. Delete Line removes all types of lines, text, cost or subtotal. Cut removes only text and cost lines but has an advantage. Anything cut is loaded into the clipboard where it can be pasted elsewhere in any estimate.

  • To restore a line after deleting, click the Undo icon.

  • Use Delete Line on the Edit Menu to remove a line from the estimate. Use Delete on the File Menu to remove an estimate from list of estimates on file.
