You already know you can use the Crane app to receive payment from anyone globally. But that's not all you can do with it. You can use it to perform everyday transactions like buying airtime in less than three minutes.
You can buy airtime with your Crane naira wallet or Crane Coins (CNC)—the reward for transaction consistency and referral activities on Crane. CNC works only on the Crane app or its affiliated community.
How to buy airtime on the Crane app
Follow the steps below to buy airtime on Crane.
Step 1: Sign in to the Crane app. Under Quick Actions, click on Airtime/Data.
Step 2: Select the wallet (naira or CNC) to buy airtime from the dropdown, as shown in the image below. You can also use CNC to buy airtime only after recording transactions worth at least $20 on the Crane app.
Step 3: Provide the phone number you wish to recharge.
Step 4: Input your preferred airtime amount.
Step 5: Click Buy
Step 6: Input your private transaction PIN to complete the transaction.
