Learn how CreditorWatch Collect works with Zapier

Updated over a week ago

Zapier is a web-based software that allows you to integrate the web applications you use with CreditorWatch Collect.

How to access the CreditorWatch Collect Zapier integration

Our Zapier integration is currently a private invite-only Zapier app, so you'll need to access it via this link: https://zapier.com/developer/public-invite/129446/5e6a534eecb764aa1402e1981eef69fc/

When you create your first Zap you will need to enter your API Access Token. You can generate your Access Token via the 'Your details' screen in CreditorWatch Collect:

  1. Login to CreditorWatch Collect, then

  2. Click on your organisation name (top left), then

  3. Click 'Your details', then

  4. Click 'Access Tokens', then

  5. Enter an Application Name e.g. "Zapier", then

  6. Click 'Create access token'.

  7. Your Access Token will displayed on the screen.

  8. Copy and paste your Access Token into your Zapier account when you're asked to enter your credentials. (Note, your Access Token is only displayed once, when you first create it. You can always delete and create a new token if you need to later.)

CreditorWatch Collect Zapier triggers

Our Zapier integration includes the following triggers:

New Message is triggered when:

  • An email or SMS reminder is sent to a customer

  • A customer replies to an email or SMS reminder

New Note is triggered when:

  • A note is added to a Contact in CreditorWatch Collect

  • Call notes are added using Call Console

  • A note is added when an invoice is marked as disputed with a reason

Invoice(s) moved is triggered when:

  • A user manually changes the workflow one or more invoices using the 'Change collector' button in the Accounts view.

  • The 'Move to Workflow' step is triggered at the end of a workflow, after all reminders have been sent.

Note, there are no Zapier actions, which means you cannot use your other web applications to trigger actions like adding a contact or invoice to CreditorWatch Collect.
