How much bandwidth does each phone need to participate in CUE's Light Show, and what determines the data load?

The bandwidth required per phone depends on the complexity of your Light Show content. CUE's Light Show can be programmed up to a maximum of 20 megabits, but most shows are far lighter‚ typically around 1.5 megabits for a standard show with colors, logos, and basic on-screen graphics. If you're doing a simple show with brand colors and a few logos, the load is comparable to the size of a text message. More complex shows with video content, lyrics, or heavy graphics will increase the size. When planning for large audiences, multiply the per-phone data load by your expected participation to estimate total bandwidth requirements. For venues with Wi-Fi capacity concerns, keeping the show simple significantly reduces the connectivity burden on your network.
