Yes, PostUP offers multiple options to display photos without the blurred background effect.
You can choose between dynamic layouts (which include the blur effect to fill 16:9 video board space) and static layouts (which display photos without blur).
Static layouts are available in square (1:1) and portrait (9:16) aspect ratios with single, quad, or six-photo configurations. When using static layouts, photos are center-cropped to fit the designated format rather than adding a blurred background. This creates a cleaner, more polished look and is particularly useful when displaying photos that don't fill the full screen dimensions or when you prefer a more traditional grid appearance.
These display settings can be adjusted at any time through the CUE platform mainboard settings, allowing you to experiment with different presentation styles to match your venue's visual standards and audience preferences.
To remove the blurred background: Toggle on the Layout Effect - Disable Post Blur button inside the mainboard settings.
Note: If you disable post blur, you can also enable image cropping mode inside the mobile settings to ensure your fan's photos will fit the new static layout.
