Once you log in to Cuez, you will automatically land on the Episode overview of your Project. From this main page, creating a new Episode is as easy as clicking the blue 'Create Episode' button in the top right.
Create an Empty Episode or start from a Template
When creating a new Episode, give it a Title and click on 'Episode template' to select the Template you want to start from. You can start from an 'Empty template' (a blank Episode) or from a Template already created in your Project.
Your newly created Episode will now open, ready for you to start building. Discover more articles in our Help Center to find out how to build your Script and/or Rundown, and here for more information on how to create your Episode Templates.
Assign a scheduled date
When creating your new Episode, after giving it a Title and selecting your Episode Template, you can also assign a scheduled date to it. This helps you sort your Episodes more easily in the Active Episodes list.
Assign your Episode to a Series
When creating your Episode, you can assign it directly to a Series by selecting the Series you would like to add your Episode to.
You can also create a new Series if you want to assign your Episode to a new one.
Setting a Time format for your Episode
Finally, when creating your Episode, you can also set a Time format, allowing you to use either AM/PM (12-hour format) or 01:00 vs 13:00 (24-hour format).
By default, Cuez will select the time format based on your computer's time settings. If Cuez is unable to determine the time format in this way, it will be set to the 24-hour format, but will allow you to change the setting as needed.
Each Episode you create afterward will use the previously selected Time format by default, but the option to change remains available.
Your Episode is created
After selecting all your Episode settings, click on "Create Episode" to confirm, and your new Episode will be created.
