Archiving an asset in your Gearbelt workspace helps keep your workspace organised by removing outdated or unused items without permanently deleting them. This ensures that only relevant and active assets remain accessible while still allowing you to retrieve archived items if needed.

To archive one or multiple assets at once, follow these steps:

  1. Go into your 'Assets' section

  2. Select the asset(s) you'd like to archive, using the checkboxes on the left-hand side

  3. Select 'Archive selected'

4. The item(s) selected will be moved to the 'Archived' section

Note:

  • You can bulk select assets by selecting the checkbox in the very top left corner of the register, next to the 'Asset' column

  • You can recover archived assets through the 'Archived' section, by selecting them and selecting 'Restore selected'

Note:

  • You can also individually archive assets, by selecting a specific asset, which will bring you into the asset Overview section. From there, in the bottom right corner you can select 'Archive' to archive the asset
