Template Tabs make it easy to keep your Template Library organised, especially as it grows. With custom tabs, you can set up your library in a way that suits your projects best - whether that's by document type, location, team, client, or anything else that makes sense for you.
How to create Template Tabs:
1. Access your Home Folder > Template Library
2. In the top bar above your templates, select the '+' button. Depending on how many tabs you already have set up, it might be located further to the left or right
3. This will create a new tab, located all the way to the right. In the textbox, you can name your tab
4. By default, your new tab will be set to blue. You can select a different color by using the dropdown arrow next to the colored square
5. Once done, press enter. Your new tab will be added
6. You will then need to assign some of your templates to your tab. Go back to the 'All' tab, all the way to the left of your tabs
7. You can either manually select your templates or use the search bar to quickly find and select the ones you need. Once you've selected your template(s), select 'Add to tab'
8. From there, choose the tab you want to assign them to
9. Your tab will now include the allocated templates, making it easier to find and deploy them to specific projects
How to delete a Template Tab:
1. Access the Home Folder > Template Library
2. Select the tab that you're looking to delete
3. Double-click on the tab name. A red trash can icon should appear
Note: This will only delete the tab, not the allocated templates
How to edit a Template Tab:
1. Access the Home Folder > Template Library
2. Select the tab that you're looking to delete
3. Double-click on the tab name. You'll then be able to edit the name and/or color of the tab
4. Press Enter to save your changes
Note: You can also rearrange your tabs in the menu bar by dragging them left or right to change their order
