The following settings can be accessed by clicking 'edit template' and switching to the 'settings' tab inside the template builder.

Form Thumbnail

This changes the information displayed on the form thumbnail when viewing the forms in the timeline or workflow view. You can display a 3rd piece of information in addition to the form creator's name, and the time & date stamp.

The additional information can be one of the following:

  • Text field (single line only)

  • Date field

  • Category field

This setting affects everyone within your team who can access this template, and will also update on the mobile/tablet app.

Form Sorting

This affects the order in which the forms appear. By default they're ordered by creation date, but using this setting, can be sorted by any date field you have on your template (ie. you can sort them by the date entered on the form, instead of by the creation date).

Note: If no date is entered on the form, Dashpivot will order the form based on the creation date.

This setting affects everyone within your team who can access this template, and will also update on the mobile/tablet app.

Important note: any changes here will also affect any analytics charts which pull this information from your forms. The quantities recorded on each form will be plotted based on the date your forms are ordered by. So bear in mind that if you adjust the setting to order the forms by a date field on the form, this may also affect where your quantity values appear in your analytics charts.
