When creating new Sitemate Links, you may encounter some warnings if one or more of the templates you selected is setup as a workflow, or contains a 'Scan Sitemate ID' field.

Explaining Error messages for Workflow Templates

Workflows are designed to help track a form as it moves though multiple stages (columns) in a process. This means you'll typically need to first create a form, and make changes at a later date or get someone else to review/edit and approve.

Sitemate app users are able to submit forms but will not have access to those submitted forms later, so they are limited to filling out the first section of the form only (ie. the fields above the first approval signature), and will need to sign the approval signature before submitting. This is to ensure any required fields are filled out accordingly.

The fields below the first approval signature will be disabled, so if you’d like more fields to be filled out by Sitemate app users, you should insert those fields above the first approval signature.

Explaining Error messages for Scan Sitemate ID fields

The Scan Sitemate ID field is designed to be used by Dashpivot users, to scan the digital ID of Sitemate users. So if a template contains a ‘Scan Sitemate ID’ field, it will appear disabled to Sitemate app users. Forms can still be filled out and submitted by Sitemate users, but the 'Scan Sitemate ID' field will be empty.

Explaining Error messages for Person fields

The Person field is designed to be used by Dashpivot users, to populate the field with users within the team folder. So if a template contains a ‘Person’ field, it will appear disabled to Sitemate app users. Forms can still be filled out and submitted by Sitemate users, but the 'Person' field will be empty.
