You will notice in your Users section two different types of users - Dashpivot Users and Sitemate Users:

To determine if a staff member needs access as a Dashpivot Contributor or as a Sitemate user (Free or Paid), let's have a look at the differences in terms of access and functionality.

Sitemate Users:

Required for your internal or external workforce and operators

  • Data is submitted via the Sitemate Links functionality

  • Ability to:

    • Submit forms and photos

    • View their own submissions

  • Cannot:

    • Edit forms once submitted

    • Clone forms

Sitemate Paid Users:

  • Best suited for Timesheets, Machine and Vehicle Prestarts, Take 5s, Job Safety Analysis (JSAs) and any processes that are conducted regularly

Sitemate Free Users:

  • Can submit a single form at once for one or several templates

  • Best suited for inductions, Site Check-ins, emote Toolbox Talks, Incident and Near-miss reports, Room Completion Sign-off

Some User examples:

  1. Your supervisor completes Site Diaries and scans the team on during a Toolbox Talk, they MUST be a Dashpivot user

  2. Your operator only needs to submit a Prestart every day, they do not need to go back and make edits to their Prestarts so they DO NOT need to be a Dashpivot user, they can use a Sitemate QR code

  3. A subcontractor is submitting ITPs in a workflow and they need to be notified when the workflow has been completed they MUST be a Dashpivot user

  4. Staff need to submit confidential information for inductions, they should not see other workers' submissions - they can be a Sitemate user
