Date fields on Dashpivot Web templates let you collect date information within forms. There are two kinds of date fields available — one for single dates and another for a range of dates — and you can customise their labels and types while building your template. These fields do not adjust for timezone differences, so the same date value appears for all users regardless of where they are.

Prerequisites

Before you begin make sure you have the following:

  • Plan: Not specified

  • Permission: Permission to edit templates in the relevant folder

  • Skills Required: Dashpivot

  • Device Type: Computer

  • Subscription: Dashpivot

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Open the template you want to edit in the Template Editor.

  2. Locate the Date Fields in the field list.

  3. Drag one of the following date field types into the template:

    • Date Range (start and end dates)

    • Single Date (a single date)

  4. Click into the field label to update the label text if required.

  5. Hover over the field icon to switch between date field types if needed.

Notes

  • Date fields do not adjust for users’ timezones, the selected date appears the same for everyone.

  • If you require timezone-adjusted dates, use the Date – Timezone Aware fields instead.
