The visualise settings within the analytics section, allows you to adjust the type of chart (e.g bar chart/line chart etc) as well as how you breakdown the information (e.g by user, by project etc).

There are 2 x visual settings you can adjust:

  • Show As:

    • This allows you to select the type of graph you would like to display (e.g Bar Chart, Line Chart etc). The types of charts available depends on if the Dashpivot chart is a Quantity, Frequency or Ratio.

  • Breakdown By:

    • This determines how you'd like to group the data in the graph e.g by team/project folder, form creator etc.

    • By default, each chart can be broken down by None, Created By, Project or Team folder. If there are multiple choice/dropdown list fields within the selected template (not from within a table field), you can also use these for your chart breakdown.

    • Note: If the template is a workflow, you can also breakdown by the Workflow Column.

Each type of chart has access to different graphs. For the Show As field, below are the available graphs for each Dashpivot chart type:

Frequency Chart:

  • Bar Chart

  • Cumulative Bar Chart

Quantity Chart:

  • Bar Chart (with optional S-Curve)

  • Line Chart

  • Area Chart

Ratio Chart:

  • Pie Chart

  • Vertical Bar Chart

  • Horizontal Bar Chart
