The Study Settings page allows you to manage key information and configurations for your study, including its status, name, dates, and access permissions.
The most critical setting is the study status, as it controls whether the study is in testing, live, or temporarily paused.
Change the Study Status
The study status defines what actions can be performed within your study. You can update it at any time from the study settings page.
Available statuses:
Draft - When the study is in Draft you can build eConsent, eCRF, and ePRO forms, you can add some test subjects and test all your forms. You can collect testing data, sign, exclude subject...
β
Live - When the study is Live you don't have access to the eCRF builder. In Live status, you can add real subjects to the study and start collecting real data with eConsent, eCRF, and ePRO.
You can create ePRO and manage ePRO settings independently from study status.
Suspended - If you need to do some changes in your eCRF, you can turn the study to Suspended. When the study is Suspended, the eCRF builder is accessible, and collecting data is locked. You can go back to Live when study changes are implemented.
Ended - When your study is ended, you can turn the study to Ended to lock the database in one click. This will lock all your data: eCRF, ePRO, and eConsent. All data and queries will be in "Read-Only". No modification can be done.
Archived - The study is archived, only available when "Archived" is checked in the study list filter.
β οΈ Important: Changing from Draft to Live will remove all test subjects and their data. Make sure you are ready to go live before confirming the change.
Note: If the study status is ENDED, the user can move back the study to LIVE. The user must give a reason which will be displayed in the Audit Trail.
