You can prevent participants from being enrolled in the eCRF and/or sent an ePRO survey until both the participant and the site have signed the eConsent form. This ensures that no data collection begins before proper consent is documented.

Go to your study.
Scroll down to Study settings and open the Options tab.
Click Edit.
Under Signature needed, switch on one or both sliders:
eCRF: Block enrollment in the eCRF until eConsent is signed.
ePRO: Block sending ePRO surveys until eConsent is signed.
Click Save.
⚠️ Important: This applies only to new inclusions after the setting is activated. Existing subjects are not affected.
