Allocation Configuration

Updated over a week ago

What is an allocation configuration?

It defines how kit types are dispensed during a study and links your study design with your physical kits.

โš ๏ธ Important - Pre-requisites :

  • Allocation must be activated in study settings โ†’ RTSM tab.

  • At least one kit type must exist (dropdown otherwise empty).

  • User must have allocation.edit permission.

Creating an allocation configuration

  1. Go to RTSM โ†’ Allocation configuration.

  2. Choose setup type:

    • No randomization: Default period appears automatically; assign kit types.

    • Single randomization: Link to randomization, map kit types to each arm, add periods if needed.

    • Multiple randomizations: Create one configuration per randomization.

  3. Click Save.

Tip๐Ÿ’ก : If randomization is deactivated, its linking section wonโ€™t appear.

Two key permissions:

  • Subject ID visibility โ†’ controls subject display

  • Kit Type visibility โ†’ controls type display in inventory
