Reorganizing Your Workspace in Onyx

Updated over 2 months ago

Onyx gives you full control over your trading layout so you can customize your workspace to match how you trade. You can move, minimize, and restore panels at any time to create a layout that works best for you.

Moving Panels

Each window inside Onyx can be repositioned easily.

To move a window:

  1. Locate the six small dots in the top-left corner of any panel.

  2. Click and hold the dots.

  3. Drag the window to a new location on your screen.

  4. Release to place it where you want.

This allows you to arrange your charts, order panels, and tools in the layout that feels most natural to you.

Minimizing or Closing Panels

If you want to temporarily remove a panel from view without losing its position, you can close it.

To close a panel:

  • Click the close icon on the window.

  • The panel will be minimized automatically.

Closed windows are not deleted, only hidden.

Restoring Panels

Any panel you close can be reopened at any time.

To restore a panel:

  1. Look to the scroll bar on the right side of the screen.

  2. Click the tab corresponding to the window you closed.

  3. The panel will reopen in the exact position it was in before closing.

This makes it easy to hide panels when they are not needed and bring them back instantly without reorganizing your layout again.

Tips for an Efficient Layout

  • Keep frequently used panels near the center of your workspace

  • Minimize tools you are not actively using to reduce clutter

  • Create a layout that matches your trading flow and habits

  • Adjust panels as needed throughout the day

A clean and organized layout helps improve focus and speed when making trading decisions.
