Trail Drawdown

How the Trail intraday trailing drawdown works and where it stops, by size.

Trail accounts use an intraday trailing drawdown: the level follows your highest balance in real time, including open profit, and never moves down. Touching it fails the account.

How it works

  • It starts at your starting balance minus the max drawdown.

  • Evaluation: the trailing drawdown stops trailing once it reaches your profit-target balance.

  • Pro Account: it starts again at the full max drawdown and stops at your starting balance.

The table below shows the values at which the trailing drawdown stops increasing. In other words, once the drawdown value reaches the values in this table it will stop increasing.
