Creating a Basic Statistic in DDS Dashboard
1. Access the Statistics Tab
Navigate to the left-hand column of DDS Dashboard.
Click on the Statistics tab at the top left of the screen.
2. Create a New Statistic
Click the plus sign labeled Create Statistic towards the top left.
Select Basic Statistic from the options.
3. Name Your Statistic
Enter a name for your statistic.
Optionally, add a description for clarity.
4. Set the Reporting Interval
Choose how often you'll be entering values:
Daily
Weekly
Monthly
Other options as needed.
5. Define the Data Type
Select the data type for tracking values:
Numeric
Currency
Percentage
Set the number of decimal places if precision is required.
6. Configure Graph Options
Decide if you want an upside-down graph (useful for negative tracking like errors or losses).
7. Set Privacy Options
Toggle the private setting if you want the statistic to be visible only to you or certain users.
8. Assign the Statistic
Ensure your graph is assigned appropriately.
Assign the statistic to a post from the dropdown.
9. Save Your Statistic
Click Save to finalize the creation of your statistic.
Your statistic is now created and ready for data entry.
