How to Use Employee Invitation Codes

Guide to Using Employee Invitation Codes in DDS Dashboard

Step 1: Understanding Invitation Codes

  • Purpose: To allow new employees to set their password and log in when they don't receive their Invitation email.

Step 2: Automatic Email Invitation

  • When a new employee is added, they receive an automatic invitation email.

  • This email contains instructions to set their password.

Step 3: Handling Missing Emails

  • Sometimes, employees may not receive the invitation email.

  • In such cases, the invitation code serves as a backup.

Step 4: Locating the Invitation Code

  • Each new employee is assigned a 6-digit invitation code.

  • To find the code:

    • Go to the Employee tab in the left-hand column.

    • Look under the Status column to see the 6-digit code.

Step 5: Sharing the Invitation Code

  • Provide the 6-digit invitation code to the employee who did not receive the email.

Step 6: Using the Invitation Code

  • Instruct the employee to visit ddsdashboard.com

  • They should:

    • Click on 'Use Invitation Code' in the top-right corner.

    • Enter the 6-digit code.

Step 7: Completing the Login Process

  • After entering the code, the employee can set their password.

  • They will then be able to log in to DDS Dashboard.
