No, your account still works in EUR, and all money transfers go through SEPA in euros.
Even if you’ve chosen to view your balance in XPF, it’s only a visual change - the actual money stays in EUR.
The money isn’t converted - it just looks different in the app 🙂
👉 Examples:
Receiving: If someone sends you €100, you’ll receive €100 in your account — but if your display is set to XPF, you’ll see it as around 11,933 XPF.
Sending: If you want to send money and type in 12,000 XPF, the app will calculate what that means in EUR (around €100.56) and send that amount in euros.
The person on the other end will receive EUR, just like any other SEPA transfer.
