How is interest in Savings Vaults calculated, and are there any fees?

The interest you earn from Savings Vaults is variable, meaning it can go up or down over time based on market conditions and how the vault is performing.

You’ll always see the real-time rate directly in the app — both before you deposit and after your funds are in.

Variable interest means the rate can change at any time, depending on the market activity.

For example, you might see a rate of 6.3%, and later it could drop to 5.5%. These changes reflect real-time dynamics in the lending market.

More details: how Savings Vault interest is calculated

The rewards come from on-chain lending through a protocol called Morpho. When you deposit into a Savings vault, your funds are lent out via Morpho, which matches them efficiently with borrowers to generate yield.

Morpho uses something called an Interest Rate Model (IRM). This model adjusts the rate based on vault utilization — meaning how much of the total available funds are being borrowed at a given time. The higher the utilization, the higher the rate can become (and vice versa).

Any fees?

Yes. Deblock charges a performance fee based on your plan — this is only taken from the rewards, never from your deposit.

Premium & Native

0%

So if you’re on the Premium or Native plan, you keep 100% of your interest. On the Standard plan, you keep 50%.
