Using the Pricing Tab

Assign prices to specs that automatically sync with the Budget tab

Steps

  1. Open a spec

  2. Go to the Pricing tab

  3. Enter the price

  4. Select the unit (each, yard, sq ft, etc.)

  5. Click Save

Syncing with Budget Tab

Prices entered in the Pricing tab automatically appear in the Budget tab:

  • Quantity: From spec details

  • Unit Cost: From pricing tab

  • Extended Cost: Calculated automatically

Two-Way Sync

Changes work both directions:

  • Update price in Pricing tab → Updates in Budget tab

  • Update price in Budget tab → Updates in Pricing tab

Quantity Notes

  • If quantity is NOT assigned by area, you can edit it in the Budget tab

  • If quantity IS assigned by area (locked), edit it in the spec Details tab

Tips

  • Always include a unit for accurate calculations

  • Use the Budget tab for bulk price updates

  • Prices flow into reports automatically
