The cooldown after a sale (and stalled sales)

Why the AI does not sell again right after a purchase, and how a dead-end sale winds down.

After a script: the cooldown period

When a script wraps up (all steps sold, or the sale abandoned), the conversation enters a cooldown period: 1 hour by default, set per script. During that time:

  • the AI stays in relationship mode: soft, caring, attentive, like after a shared moment;

  • it asks the fan what they thought of the content, checks in on how they are doing;

  • it offers no new sale and promises no content, even if the fan warms up again quickly.

This is a deliberate safeguard: selling again immediately after a purchase burns through your scripts in a few hours with your best fans and makes the fan feel like a wallet. The sales pace is also regulated more finely by history: a fan who just bought, or who ignored the latest offers, is not pushed to buy again right away.

Once the cooldown has passed, the conversation resumes normally: at the fan's next sign of desire, a new script is chosen and a new cycle begins.

A sale left unanswered fades out on its own

If a conversation is in the middle of a sale but no message is exchanged for 3 hours, it automatically drops back to relationship mode. When the fan returns, the AI picks the relationship back up gently instead of welcoming them back with the media to pay for.

What you can adjust

The cooldown length is set per script (1 hour by default). If you would like to adjust it on your scripts, contact support from the Messenger.
