In the Funding model, pre-orders are launched first. Once the required amount has been collected, vinyl production can begin.
With Direct Pressing, production starts immediately after payment, without going through a pre-order phase.
The current turnaround time is 6-8 weeks from once the quote is confirmed, all required elements are received and validated, and payment is made. The artist and/or label manages sales independently, unless they choose to sell through the Diggers Factory platform.
👉 Advantages of Direct Pressing: faster production and the ability to sell your records directly to, with no fees.
👉 Disadvantage: you need to know and define in advance the quantity of vinyl you want.
