Fixing Random Crashes in Fire Studio 7 (Windows)
If you are experiencing random crashes while using Fire Studio 7 for Windows, the issue may already be resolved in the latest release. Please follow the steps below to update your installation.
Step 1: Download the Latest Version
We released a stability update that fixes many of the random crashing issues.
Make sure you download version 7.2.05.b003 or newer.
Step 2: Uninstall the Old Version
Before installing the update:
Open the Windows Control Panel.
Go to Programs and Features (or Apps & Features on Windows 10/11).
Locate Fire Studio 7.
Select it and click Uninstall.
Step 3: Install the New Version
Run the installer you downloaded from the link above.
Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the installation.
Step 4: License & Activation
You do not need to reactivate your license.
The new installation should automatically recognize your existing activation.
If your license is not recognized, restart your computer and try again.
