Q What is Company Settings

Company Settings module where all the core information about the company subscription, its various settings is centralized in one place for you to access and control your use of the platform. This includes UK Companies House registered information about the company, subscription and billing information, its address and website etc. It also enables control of which colleagues can access which modules on the platform​.


Company Settings are accessed via either the Company Index or Side Bar

In the Company Settings, there is an Index containing information about your company.

Companies House Core Info

Information that you've given during registration is here and a direct link to Companies House and Direct link to Companies House Snapshot of your company.

You can see a snapshot of your company including your Filing History, Officers, Persons with Significant control, etc.

Group Info

This is where you can see the group of companies created. You can see the group your company belongs too.

Location, Website and Socials

Director's Info.

Direct/Indirect Channel

Company Stage of Development

This is the stage of your Company's development that you selected while registering.

Company Objectives

Subscription Model Info

This is the Subscription plan you are currently on.

User Permissions

Advisor Permissions

You can add your advisors to modules from here.

Add advisor website url, email of contact and tick the box.

Delete Company

If you want to delete your company from the Diligentsia account.

Company deleted successfully.

An email is sent to you to confirm the deletion.

Q: How do I access the Company Settings?

A: You can access the Company Settings from either the Company Index or the Company Dashboard.

Q: What information is included in the Companies House Core Info section?

A: This section includes your company’s filing history, officers, persons with significant control, and a direct link to the Companies House snapshot.

Q: Can I update my company’s registration information in the Companies House Core Info section?

A: No, registration information is pulled directly from Companies House and cannot be updated from the platform.

Q: How do I update my company’s address, website, or social media links?

A: Use the Location, Website, and Socials section in the Company Settings to make these updates.

Q: Can I change my company’s stage of development after registration?

A: No, this feature is currently not available. Contact support for assistance.

Q: Where can I see information about my group of companies?

A: Group information is displayed in the Group Info section of the Company Settings.

Q: How do I manage user permissions for modules?

A: Use the User Permissions section within Company Settings to assign or restrict module access for colleagues.

Q: What should I do if my subscription details are incorrect?

A: Verify your subscription in the Subscription Model Info section. If there are discrepancies, contact support.

Q: Can I change my company’s subscription plan through the Company Settings?

A: No, the Subscription Model Info section only allows you to view your current subscription plan. You can upgrade your plan from your dashboard or index

Q: Why can’t I see certain modules in my Company Settings?

A: Modules visible depend on your subscription plan. Upgrade to access additional modules.

Q: How do I verify if my company information is correctly linked to Companies House?

A: Use the direct link provided in the Companies House Core Info section to verify the information.

Q: Can I delete a company from the platform?

A: Yes, use the Delete Company option in Company Settings. This action is irreversible and deletes all associated data.

Q: What happens to my data if I delete a company?

A: All company data is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.

Q: Can I add additional companies to my group from Company Settings?

A: No, companies must be added through the Company Index, and then grouped in the Group Info section.

Q: How do I view my current company objectives?

A: Objectives are displayed in the Company Objectives section of the Company Settings.

Q: Can I change my company objectives in Company Settings?

A: This feature is not currently available. Contact support for temporary solutions.

Q: How is subscription and billing information displayed?

A: The Subscription Model Info section outlines your current plan, billing cycle, and payment history.

Q: Why can’t I see my company’s directors’ information?

A: Directors’ information is populated from Companies House. Ensure your company registration is correct.

Q: Can I export my company settings data for offline use?

A: No, company settings data cannot be exported at this time.
