You can cancel an order directly through the Dispatch platform or by contacting support. The steps depend on the current status of your order.
If no driver has been assigned yet
Go to the Orders tab in your Dispatch dashboard, open the order, and select Cancel Order. This can typically be done without any additional steps as long as the order is still in an "Awaiting Assignment" status.
If a driver has already been assigned
Once a driver is assigned and the order is active, you cannot cancel directly through the portal. Contact Dispatch Support immediately through the chat in the portal or by emailing your account team. Please have your order number ready so we can act quickly. The sooner you reach out, the better the chance we can reach the driver before pickup.
If the job was canceled by your client or end customer
Reach out to Dispatch Support right away with your order number and let us know the job has been canceled. Include as much detail as possible so we can act quickly, especially if a driver is already on the way.
What happens after cancellation
If the order is canceled before pickup, no delivery charge applies.
If a driver has already picked up the items, additional fees may apply depending on how far along the delivery is.
You will receive a confirmation once the cancellation is processed.
