Guide to Integrating Merlink DRS with Disputifier for Chargeback Management

This guide provides a step-by-step process to connect your Merlink Dispute Resolution System (DRS) with Disputifier's automated chargeback defense platform, enabling seamless dispute monitoring and response.

Pre-Integration Requirements

✔️ Administrative access to Merlink DRS
✔️ Active chargeback management module
✔️ Disputifier merchant account
✔️ 15-20 minutes for complete setup


Step 1: Configure Disputifier Access in Merlink DRS

1. Log in to Merlink DRS Portal

  1. Navigate to Merlink DRS Login

  2. Authenticate using admin credentials

  3. Complete any multi-factor authentication

2. Navigate to User Management

  1. Select AdministrationUser AccessExternal Partners

  2. Click "Add Third-Party Provider"

3. Create Disputifier Integration Profile

Complete all required fields:

  • Partner Type: Select "Chargeback Service Provider"

  • Access Identifier: DRS_disputifier_[YourMID] (e.g., DRS_disputifier_M12345)

  • Department Assignment: Risk Operations

4. Configure Granular Permissions

🔓 **Required Access:**
- View/Manage all disputes
- Download transaction evidence
- Upload rebuttal documents
- Access representment console
- View customer verification data

🔒 **Restricted Access:**
- Initiate refunds
- Modify merchant settings
- Access settlement reports

5. Finalize Integration Setup

  1. Set access duration to "Continuous"

  2. Enable "Activity Logging" for audit trail

  3. Click "Send Partner Invitation"

  4. Save the Integration Reference ID (format: MLK-DRS-INV-XXXXXX)
