How to integrate TagadaPay with Disputifier

Connecting TagadaPay to Disputifier gives us the dispute and transaction data needed to automate and fight your chargebacks. This guide covers two steps: creating an access token in TagadaPay, and adding it inside Disputifier.

Before you start

In this guide, you will be able to:

  • Create a new access token in your TagadaPay account, with the correct role

  • Add the access token to Disputifier to complete the connection

You'll need administrator access to your TagadaPay account so you can create access tokens, and access to your Disputifier dashboard.

Part 1: Create an access token in TagadaPay

In this first part, you'll create an access token in TagadaPay and assign it the role Disputifier needs to automate your chargebacks. Start from your TagadaPay dashboard.

  1. Log in to your TagadaPay dashboard

  2. Click Settings

  3. Click Access Tokens

  4. Click Create Access Token

5. In the Name field, enter Disputifier

6. Set the Role to Admin

7. Click Create Token

8. After creating the Token, you'll be returned to the Access Tokens page. Copy the access token shown. You'll paste this into Disputifier in Part 2, so keep this page open or store the token somewhere safe until you do.

Part 2: Add the access token inside Disputifier

In this second part, you'll enter your TagadaPay access token into Disputifier to complete the connection.

  1. In your Disputifier dashboard, click Settings in the left sidebar

  2. Select Integrations

  3. In the CRM section, find TagadaPay Integration

  4. Click Add

5. Paste the Token Key you copied in Part 1, Step 8

6. Click Save

Once you click Save, Disputifier will confirm the token was accepted and your TagadaPay account will show as Active in the Integrations section.

Verify your setup before you finish

Run through this checklist to confirm each part of the TagadaPay integration was completed correctly:

  • The access token is named Disputifier and its role is set to Admin (Part 1, Step 5-6)

  • The full access token was copied from TagadaPay with no extra spaces or missing characters (Part 1, Step 8)

  • TagadaPay Integration was found and added under Settings > Integrations, in the CRM section, in Disputifier (Part 2, Steps 3-4)

  • The Token Key was pasted in full into Disputifier and saved (Part 2, Step 5)

Common issues and how to fix them

My access token isn't working, or the connection won't save. This is usually caused by copying the token incorrectly or by the token role not being set to Admin. Confirm the access token's role is Admin in TagadaPay, then re-copy the full token from TagadaPay into Disputifier, making sure there are no extra spaces or missing characters. If the token still doesn't work, create a new access token in TagadaPay with the same settings from Part 1 and enter that one instead.

The integration saved, but chargebacks or transactions aren't coming through. This usually means the access token doesn't have the Admin role. In TagadaPay, go to Settings > Access Tokens, open the Disputifier token, and confirm its role is set to Admin. TagadaPay doesn't allow editing the role on an existing token, so if you need to change it, create a new access token with the Admin role and update it in Disputifier.

If you've checked everything above and the TagadaPay integration still isn't working, contact the Disputifier team through the live chat option in the app. Include your store or website URL and let us know which step the issue occurs at so we can help.
