How to Integrate Loop Subscriptions to Disputifier

This guide will explain how you can integrate Loop Subscriptions

In this guide we cover how you can Integrate Loop Subscriptions to automatically cancel subscriptions for chargeback alerts and chargebacks that you receive.

Step 1: Generating API tokens

  1. Login to your Loop Subscriptions App through Shopify

  2. Look for Settings

  3. Head over to API tokens

  4. Click on Generate New Token

  5. You can name the token Disputifier
    Select the following Checkboxes
    a) Subscription Contracts - Read & Write
    b) Orders - Read & Write
    c) Customers - Read & Write
    d) Webhooks - Read & Write

Click Generate

Copy the API Token to a separate document to use later


Step 2: Sorting out reporting


Subscription Canceled due to an Alert

Head over to Retain > Cancelation Flows > Reasons

  1. Click on Add Reason



  2. On the next page add a reason under the Cancellation reason section.

    You can input something like Subscription Canceled Due to a Chargeback Alerts or Chargeback Alert as a reason.

    Set the Status to Active




  3. Click Save

  4. Copy the code from the URL and save it on a separate document

Head over to Retain > Cancelation Flows > Reasons

  3. Click Save

  4. Copy the code from the URL and save it on a separate document

Please note: Creating a Cancelation Reason also creates the reason on your self service subscription portal. Customers may select those on their end. You can leverage Suggest treatments when customers attempt to cancel in loop to win these back.

Step 3: Setting this up in Disputifier

  1. Login to the Disputifier App

  2. Head over to Settings > Integrations and look for Loop

  3. Add the Token key, Dispute Reason ID and Alert Reason ID

    These are what you copied in Steps 1 and 2

  4. Click Save

  5. Head over to the Chargeback Alerts section in the app and Settings in that

  6. Look for Cancel subscription & blacklist customers that receive alerts and toggle that on
