Integrating Chargebee with Disputifier: A Step-by-Step Guide
Chargebee is a powerful subscription management platform, and integrating it with Disputifier can help streamline chargeback management and prevent revenue loss. This guide will walk you through the process of integrating Chargebee with Disputifier by setting up user permissions and sending an invitation to their onboarding team.
Step 1: Create a User for Disputifier
To enable Disputifier to manage subscriptions effectively, you must create a dedicated user with appropriate permissions in Chargebee.
Log in to Chargebee – Navigate to your Chargebee dashboard.
Go to Settings – Click on your profile icon in the top-right corner and select "Settings."
Navigate to Users & Roles – Under the "Account Settings" section, select "Users & Roles."
Add a New User – Click the "Invite User" button.
Set the User Details:
Email:

Role: Assign a role that includes subscription cancellation permissions. Typically, this would be an "Admin" or "Support Manager" role.
Username: Choose a username for Disputifier and keep a record of it, as you’ll need to share this information with their team.
Send the Invitation – Click "Invite" to send an email to Disputifier’s onboarding team.
Step 2: Grant Subscription Cancellation Permissions
To ensure Disputifier can manage cancellations effectively, verify the user role permissions:
Go to Users & Roles – Under "Settings," navigate to "Roles."
Edit the Role Assigned to Disputifier – If needed, create a custom role or modify an existing one.
Enable Subscription Management Permissions:
View Subscriptions
Cancel Subscriptions
Issue Refunds (if necessary for your workflow)
Save Changes – Ensure the role is updated and applied to the Disputifier user.
Step 3: Notify Disputifier
Once you have created the user and assigned the appropriate permissions:
Click on the Chat bubble at the right hand side of this page
Send Disputifier Support a support ticket letting them know that you've sent an invitation to Chargebee.
Await their confirmation (responses are usually a couple of minutes during business hours)
