Welcome to the DIVACS application navigation guide. This documentation will help you understand how to efficiently navigate through the DIVACS platform, switch between different views, and access various features.

Customer and Vendor Tabs

Why Customer and Vendor Views are Separated

DIVACS organizes your data into two distinct views: Customer and Vendor. This separation exists because:

  • Different Data Sets: Customer and vendor data require different analysis approaches and metrics

  • Distinct Workflows: The processes for managing customers versus vendors involve different stakeholders and business logic

  • Specialized Features: Each view offers tools and analytics specifically designed for that relationship type

  • Clear Focus: Separating views helps users concentrate on relevant data without distraction

How to Switch Between Customer and Vendor Views

The Customer/Vendor toggle is located in the top navigation bar and is easily accessible from any page:

Location: Top navigation bar, to the left of the search functionality

Toggle Options:

  • Customer: View all customer-related data, analytics, and tools

  • Vendor: Access vendor-specific information and management features

Switching: Simply click on "Customer" or "Vendor" to switch between views

Automatic Refresh: When switching views, the application automatically refreshes data and redirects you to the dashboard to ensure you see the most relevant information

Company Switching

How to Switch Companies

If you have access to multiple companies, you can easily switch between them:

Company Selector: Located in the top-right area of the navigation bar

Current Company: Displays the name of the currently selected company

Switching Process:

  • Click on the company name to open the dropdown

  • Select the desired company from the list

  • The application will automatically refresh and load data for the selected company

What Happens When You Switch Companies

When switching companies, DIVACS ensures data integrity by:

  • Clearing all cached data from the previous company

  • Resetting all store states and user selections

  • Redirecting to the dashboard with fresh data

  • Updating all permissions and access controls for the new company context

Search Functionality

Global Search Features

DIVACS provides a powerful global search that helps you quickly find:

  • Menu Items: Search for specific features and pages by name or function

  • Customers: Find customers by name, email, contact person, or details

  • Vendors: Locate vendors using similar search criteria

  • Real-time Results: Search results appear as you type with intelligent filtering

How to Use Search

Location: Search bar in the top navigation, easily recognizable by the search icon

Search Process:

  • Click on the search bar or use the keyboard shortcut

  • Type your search term (minimum 1 character)

  • View real-time results categorized by type

  • Click on any result to navigate directly to that item or page

Search Categories

Search results are organized into three main categories:

  • Menu Items: Application features and pages (limited to 5 results)

  • Customers: Customer records (limited to 10 results)

  • Vendors: Vendor records (limited to 10 results)

This navigation system is designed to provide efficient access to all DIVACS features while maintaining a clear separation between customer and vendor data management workflows.
