Setting up Gong integration in DIVACS and generating value drivers

Updated over 7 months ago

This article provides a comprehensive guide to integrating Gong with the DIVACS platform and leveraging it to generate powerful value drivers from your Gong call transcripts. By connecting Gong, you can seamlessly import and analyze transcribed sales calls, automatically identifying key value drivers relevant to your customers or vendors.

Prerequisites:

  • An active Gong account with API access is required.

  • You must possess administrative permissions in DIVACS to configure integrations.

  • DIVACS utilizes OAuth for secure Gong integration, necessitating authorization during the setup process.

Section 1: Setting Up Gong Integration in DIVACS

Integrating Gong with DIVACS allows for seamless access to your Gong data, such as call transcripts, which is crucial for features like value driver generation. Follow these steps to establish the integration:

Step 1: Navigate to the Integrations Page

  1. Log in to your DIVACS account.

  2. From the left-hand navigation menu on your main dashboard, click on "Integrations."

Step 2: Select Gong as Your Integration

  1. On the "Integrations and Connected apps" page, locate the "Gong" card.

  2. If Gong is not yet connected, you will see a "Connect" button or a similar option like "Integrate Gong." Click this button to initiate the integration process.

Step 3: Authorize Gong Access

  1. You will be redirected to Gong's official authorization page.

  2. If prompted, log in to your Gong account.

  3. Carefully review the permissions DIVACS is requesting (e.g., read access to calls, transcripts, users, and AI content).

  4. Click "Authorize" or "Allow" to grant DIVACS the necessary access.

  5. Upon successful authorization, you will be redirected back to DIVACS, and the integration status for Gong should update to "Active" or "Connected."

Step 4: Verify the Integration

  1. Return to the "Integrations and Connected apps" page in DIVACS.

  2. Confirm that the Gong card now displays a connected status, such as "Active."

Once the integration is successfully set up, your Gong data will be available for use in DIVACS features, including value driver generation.
