Method 1: AI Generation

This method uses AI to analyze company and industry data to create suggested value drivers.

  1. Click the Generate Value Driver button.

  2. In the Number of Value Drivers field, enter a number from 1 to 10.

  3. (Recommended) In the text field, provide specific context about the customer, their goals, or relevant use cases.

    • Note: The quality of the AI suggestions is directly related to the quality of the context you provide.

  4. Click Generate.

  5. The system will produce a list of suggested value drivers. Proceed to the "Review and Save Value Drivers" section below.

Method 2: Manual Entry

Use this method to input a value driver with specific, pre-defined details. This is ideal for custom metrics or contract-specific values.

  1. Click the Add Value Driver Manually button.

  2. A form will appear. Complete all required fields, including:

    • Name

    • Category (e.g., Hard Cost, Time Savings)

    • Product or Services

    • Benchmark Value and Unit

    • Benchmark Source

  3. Click Add New to save the value driver to the profile.

Method 3: Generation from a Transcript

This feature extracts value drivers by analyzing the content of business documents or conversation transcripts.

  1. Click the Generate from Transcript button.

  2. Select your data source:

    • Upload Document: Drag and drop a file (or click to browse). Supported formats include DOC, TXT, PDF, and CSV.

    • Gong Integration: If connected, select a date range and choose one or more transcribed calls to analyze.

  3. The system will process the source and generate a list of value drivers. Proceed to the "Review and Save Value Drivers" section below.

Method 4: Using Company Value Drivers

This method allows you to link existing, standardized value drivers that have been created elsewhere in your company's DIVACS account.

  1. Click the Company Value Drivers button.

  2. A sidebar will appear, listing available drivers. You can filter this list by All, Connected, or Not Connected.

  3. Select the checkbox next to each value driver you wish to apply to the current customer.

  4. Click Link Selected. The drivers will be added to the customer's profile immediately.\

Review and Save Value Drivers

After using the AI or Transcript generation methods, you must review and save the results.

  1. On the Generated Value Drivers screen, review each line item for accuracy and relevance.

  2. To remove an unwanted suggestion, click the trash can icon at the end of its row.

  3. Once you are satisfied with the list, click the Save Value Drivers button to add them to the customer's profile.

Troubleshooting & Best Practices

  • Issue: AI-generated drivers are irrelevant.

    • Solution: Regenerate the drivers but provide more specific, detailed context in the input field. Include industry terms, customer goals, and pain points.

  • Issue: No value drivers are generated.

    • Solution: Ensure sufficient context was provided. For transcript analysis, verify the document contains relevant keywords related to value, cost, time, or revenue.

  • Best Practice: Always Verify Benchmarks.

    • Review the Benchmark and Context for all generated drivers. Manually edit the driver if you have more accurate, company-specific data.
