Getting Started with Watchlist

Adding Companies to Your Watchlist

Transform your dashboard into a powerful monitoring hub in just a few clicks:

Step 1: Open the Watchlist Manager

Look for the "Watchlist" section in your dashboard. You'll spot a blue plus (+) icon next to the title. Click this icon to open the watchlist management panel.

Step 2: Browse or Search for Companies

Once the panel opens, you'll see:

  • A complete grid of all your linked customers or vendors

  • Each company displayed with their logo and name

  • Current watchlist status for each company

Pro tip: Use the search bar at the top to quickly filter and find specific companies - just start typing and watch the list update in real-time!

Step 3: Add to Watchlist

To start tracking a company:

  1. Find the company you want to monitor

  2. Click the green "+ Watch" button next to their name

  3. Wait for the loading indicator to confirm the action

  4. The button will change to a red "Remove" button, confirming the company is now being watched

Step 4: View Your Watchlist Cards

Close the panel and return to your dashboard. Your newly added companies will appear as interactive cards in the Watchlist section, ready to provide instant insights.

Understanding Watchlist Cards

Each Watchlist card is a mini-dashboard packed with valuable information:

Card Components

  • Company Header: Displays the company logo and name for quick identification

  • Value Score: Shows the current value metric with color-coding:

    • 🟒 Green indicates positive performance trends

    • πŸ”΄ Red signals areas needing attention

  • Trend Chart: An interactive visualization showing the value journey over time

  • Quick Remove: An X icon in the top-right corner for easy removal

Managing Your Watchlist

Removing Companies from Watchlist

When priorities shift, updating your Watchlist is simple. You have two convenient methods:

Method 1: Quick Remove from Cards

  1. Hover over any Watchlist card

  2. Click the X icon in the top-right corner

  3. Confirm removal in the dialog that appears

  4. Click "Remove" to confirm or "Cancel" to keep watching

Method 2: Bulk Management via Panel

  1. Click the plus icon to open the Watchlist manager

  2. Find companies marked with red "Remove" buttons

  3. Click "Remove" next to any company you want to stop watching

  4. Changes apply immediately

Best Practices for Watchlist Management

  • Keep it focused: Limit your Watchlist to 5-10 key relationships for optimal monitoring

  • Regular reviews: Update your Watchlist monthly to ensure it reflects current priorities

  • Mix and match: Balance high-performing and at-risk relationships for comprehensive oversight

  • Use search wisely: The search function helps manage large customer bases efficiently
