1. Setup Tupelo (Windcave USB Terminal)
Follow the Payment Setup section below for detailed instructions on setting up the Tupelo Windcave terminal.
2. Download Dnero Software
Download the Dnero .zip file from the designated source (link provided by Dnero support).
Extract the Files: Right-click on the downloaded .zip file and select “Extract All...” If you’re unable to extract, install an extraction tool like WinRAR or 7-Zip.
3. Install Dnero POS Software
Open the Dnero folder and locate the Dnero POS setup file. If you encounter a message saying “Microsoft prevented an unrecognized app from running,” click More info and then Run anyway.
Run the setup file (recommended on systems with at least 8 GB of RAM). On slower systems, if Dnero briefly closes on the logo screen, simply reopen the app.

Adding a Printer in Windows
Open System Settings > Printers and Scanners.
Click +Add a printer or scanner.
Choose your setup type:
For Network Printers (Wi-Fi/Ethernet):
Add the printer via IP Address.
For USB Printers:
Select Add a local printer or network printer with manual settings.
Choose an existing port, selecting the appropriate USB (Local port).
Click Next.
Select Generic as the Manufacturer, and Generic/Text Only as the Printer.
Choose to Use the driver that is currently installed.
Name the printer (avoid spaces or numerals in the name).
Enable Share this printer so others on your network can find and use it.
Print a test page to confirm the setup.
Click Finish.
Adding a Printer in Dnero
Open Dnero and click the three-line menu.
Go to Settings > Printers.
Select the available printer from the list and click + to add it.

Setting Up Tupelo (Windcave USB Terminal)
Visit Windcave Support and download the SCR Controller.
Open the downloaded file to start the installation wizard, then click Install.
Accept the license agreement.
The USB drivers will be installed. Follow the instructions in the driver wizard.
The installer will download the controller. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the installation.
Setting Up the Lane3000 or IPP350 Pinpad
In the Dnero Admin Portal, go to Features and enter the API key.
Create a payment method and configure it as a wired payment terminal.
Physically connect the terminal to the register.
Repurposing the Move5000 Terminal
In Dnero’s Admin Portal, go to Features and enter the API key.
Create a payment method for the Move5000 terminal.
Use a USB-A to USB-B cable to connect the Windows device to the Windcave terminal.
On the Move5000, update the following settings:
Set POS CONFIG to USB BASE so the POS system recognises the device (through the 5210 menu).
Set HOST CONFIG to FORWARD BY POS (through the 5210 menu).
With the Move5000 plugged into Windows, run the Live_PXTupeloInstaller_Scr2 to complete the setup.
