How do I put money into my dosh account?
There are three ways to add money your Everyday dosh account:
1. Instantly: via Windcave - convenience fee included
Step 1: From the Home Screen. tap Add Money, select Add Money via Windcave - Instant
Step 2: Enter the amount, tap Add Money
You will be directed to the Windcave payment gateway
Step 3: Select your bank provider
Step 4: Login to your online bank account as normal
Please note: There is a convenience fee of $0.70 to instantly add money via Windcave. dosh or Windcave do not keep or record any personal information.
There is a daily Windcave top up limit of $700NZD. If you would like to add more money, please choose Bank Transfer.

2. Via Bank Transfer - free
You can add money to your dosh account via a payment direct from your personal bank account for free.
Please carefully follow the instructions below to set up dosh as a payee in your online banking or mobile banking app.
The funds will be added to your dosh account when they arrive at the dosh bank account β standard banking timeframes apply.
(Note: You can add money to your dosh account via bank transfer 7 days a week, including public holidays. Bank transfer payments made between 9am and 10pm, can be expected to show within 2 hours. For payments made outside of these hours, your money will show in the morning of the following day.)
Payment Instructions
Step 1:
Login to your internet banking or mobile banking app
Step 2:
Set up Dosh as a new Payee, using the account details below
Step 3:
You must include your mobile number in the payment reference field. This is so the funds are deposited into the correct dosh account.
If you do not include your mobile phone number in the payment reference field, our system will automatically reverse the funds into the bank account they came from.
Step 4:
Make payment. Turn on your notifications to be alerted when the funds arrive
Please set up dosh as a Payee using the following details:

*(Important: If there is no mobile number in the Payment Reference field, the payment will be reversed. If we don't have your mobile number as a reference, we do not know which dosh account to deposit the money into.)
Adding money from an ASB account β troubleshooting
For ASB bank account holders, before adding money to your dosh account you must turn on ASB notifications on your smartphone to receive your Netcode.
1. Go to Settings in your phone, then Notifications. Tap on ASB
2. Turn on ASB notifications
3. Do the same for ASB alerts
To ensure you always have funds available, simply set up a regular recurring automatic payment from your bank account to your dosh account.
dosh does not currently enable adding money via debit or credit card.
3. Get your wages paid into your dosh account by your employer - once set up there's no further action required to add money
Step 1: Contact dosh in-app or via our website and request a dosh Bank account number.
Step 2: We will set up the account for you and send you an email with the account details to your registered email address.
Step 3: Forward the email directly to your employer requesting an update of the bank account number they pay your wages to. They will confirm when this is complete.
