What to do if your dosh card is lost or stolen

If your dosh card is lost or stolen, you can cancel it and order a replacement from within your dosh app.

Additionally, if you suspect unauthorized activity on your Dosh card or believe it has been compromised, you should Temporarily lock your card and contact us as soon as you can so we can investigate the activity.

If you have misplaced your dosh card, we recommend putting a Temporary Lock on it from within the Card section of your app. Simply toggle across to the right. When your card shows up, just toggle back to the left to unlock it.

This precautionary step helps mitigate potential risks while you verify the card's status.

If your card has been permanently lost, or stolen, open your dosh app, tap on Card and select Lost or Stolen.

Follow the on-screen instructions carefully to complete the cancelation and initiate a replacement.

If you notice unauthorized transactions, use the app's message feature to report them immediately. Taking this step ensures the issue is recorded and addressed promptly.

Follow the prompts to cancel your dosh card and order a replacement. Please note, a $15 card replacement fee will apply.

Replacing your card ensures your account remains secure, especially for resolving any disputes related to unauthorized transactions.

Tip: Your replacement card will come with a new number, expiry date and CVC. Make sure you add these new details to all your saved online platforms, eg Vodafone, Uber, UberEats, My Lotto, etc.

Activate your new card in the Dosh app and update any linked accounts with the updated card details to ensure uninterrupted services.

FAQs

  • What if Iโ€™m unsure whether my card is compromised? If there is any doubt, it is best to replace your card as a precaution. Use the Temporary Lock feature in the app until you confirm its status.

  • What is the fee for replacing a card? The standard replacement fee is $15. Please check the app for the most current information on fees.
