Overview
Enterprise clients can now request and track formatted (Wipe & Clean) assets directly in the Dots dashboard — with full visibility through order summaries, change logs, and Slack notifications.
Note: Available only for Dots US warehouses and activated upon request.
What’s New
Request and monitor formatted assets directly in the dashboard.
Real-time status visibility in order summaries.
Slack notifications when an asset’s formatted status changes.
Audit tracking: every change appears in the asset change log for transparency.
How It Works
1. Request “Wipe & Clean” Service
Once the service is enabled for your warehouse:
Open your Dots Dashboard.
Navigate to your Order Summary or Assets tab.
Select Add Wipe & Clean Request.
Confirm the request to initiate the formatted asset process.
Tip: If you don’t see the option, your warehouse might not yet support the service. Contact your Dots representative to enable it.
2. Track Status Updates
After your request is submitted:
Each asset’s formatted status appears in the dashboard.
When the status changes in Dots, it is automatically:
Recorded in the Asset Change Log
Sent to your team via Slack Notification
Example Notifications
Here’s how you’ll see updates in Slack:
Each notification includes:
Asset name or ID
Warehouse
Updated formatted status
Timestamp and user reference
