To support responsible usage of wire transfer payments and provide clearer visibility into account balances, we’ve updated how order credit is managed in the system.
Dots continues to finance wire transfer orders on behalf of clients. This update simply adds more structure, visibility, and timely notifications, helping avoid surprises and keeping orders moving smoothly.
How Order Credit Works?
Each client account has an Order Credit Limit, which represents the maximum total value of wire transfer orders that can be outstanding at any given time.
The limit is calculated by invoice amounts, not by the number of invoices
Only wire transfer orders are included
Credit card payments and Dots credits are excluded, as they are paid immediately
You can always see your current Order Credit Limit and usage directly under tab Orders .
Placing Orders When Reaching the Limit
When your outstanding wire transfer balance reaches the account limit, new orders can still be placed, with alternative payment options:
Credit card
Dots credits (for eligible domestic delivery orders)
In these cases, wire transfer payments may be temporarily unavailable until the balance changes.
Flexible Buffer for Wire Transfers
To allow operational flexibility, the system includes a grace buffer:
A wire transfer may still be available for a new order even if it exceeds the remaining credit — as long as the total outstanding balance after the order stays within a defined buffer above the limit.
This helps prevent unnecessary friction for small overages while maintaining responsible credit usage.
Overdue Invoice Notifications
To help keep things on track, the system sends automatic reminders before and after invoices become overdue:
Email reminders are sent to the billing entity contact listed on the order
Notifications are sent even if the recipient does not actively use the platform
Messages include clear information on what’s overdue and what actions may be affected.
Important note: If overdue balances remain unresolved for several days, wire transfer payments may be temporarily paused until invoices are settled.
